Boiler history, applications and terminology are introduced. Governing organizations for Boiler Codes, operator certification and career opportunities are discussed in this module. ( 3 NATE recognized CEHs , 1.5 BPI CEUs )

161-2 Classifying Boilers $64 | REGISTER

This module will take a look at some of the more common designs and classifications of boilers. ( 3 NATE recognized CEHs , 1.5 BPI CEUs )

161-3 Combustion $64 | REGISTER

In this module we will take a look at the burner, the component used to start and sustain a fire in the boiler. Combustion basics and combustion components are discussed in detail. ( 3 NATE recognized CEHs , 1.5 BPI CEUs )

161-4 The Heat Exchanger $64 | REGISTER

We go from the combustion process to transferring the energy released to the “fireside surfaces” of the boiler. In this module, we will see how the heat exchanger transfers this energy to do work. ( 3 NATE recognized CEHs , 1.5 BPI CEUs )

161-5 Controlling Energy Sources $64 | REGISTER

In this presentation, will take a look at some of the typical safety and operating controls found on boilers. Containing and controlling transferred energy in steam and hot water, as safely and efficiently as practical, is our priority. ( 3 NATE recognized CEHs , 1.5 BPI CEUs )

161-6 Boiler Accidents/Hazards $64 | REGISTER

We will learn four of the major perils associated with boilers in this module. Hazards associated with confined spaces, explosions, low water conditions and lockout / tagout procedures are discussed. ( 3 NATE recognized CEHs , 1.5 BPI CEUs )
